18 June 2021: The official announcement of Windows 11 is rumored to be taking place Thursday, the 24th. If and when it is actually released, True Launch Bar will be the very first thing I install in the new system.
I have every confidence that it will work perfectly.
It will be interesting to see where TLB is placed, on the taskbar, since the start menu button will be in the middle of the taskbar.
Interestingly, there are already ways available to customize this not-yet-released version of Windows. See, for instance,
https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-tas...ows-11.12/ (that's a live link)
which moves the taskbar icons back to the position we're familiar with, and TLB's icons will move, too.
Wisewiz, in Russia people dont know about windows 11. Sorry for my english with russian accent
Interesting, Tenj. The word will get around very quickly after this coming Thursday's Microsoft "EVENT."

(You never have to be worried here about your Russian accent or your English mistakes. Most of the people on this forum speak (and write) only ONE language, and many of them have difficulty expressing themselves in even that ONE. I am very impressed that you speak at least two languages, Russian and English.
I could not find a way to get TLB 'into' the Taskbar. Had to use standalone version.
Bad news!!!
It can't run on windows 11 because its new taskbar doesn't accept to put a new taskbar. Right-clicking on the taskbar only takes you to the Windows settings. The company has to create a new update so that it can run on Windows 11.
bay, bay truelauncher?, I hope some beta version for windows 11 will be released soon for Windows 11.
(You can only run tlbHost.exe as an additional toolbar).
The available versions of W11 are still rough and early versions. I'm hoping they'll see the light and fix the taskbar in several ways between now and the full release in late 2021 or early2022. I think if they make the taskbar able to open new toolbars, TLB will run on it. I hope.
the workaround isn't too bad though

Hello
I think that about what is addressed here is to try to make the programmer "true launcher bar" it is about to adapt to the new times. Well, it seems that he has left the project abandoned; And it would be sad.
I would agree that the developer has abandoned TLB., years and years ago. I don't even know why the forum still exists.
I've found a solution, but it's not the most optimal or elegant. Note that I have two computers, and the older one I use as a test bench, that's why I talk about these issues. Third-party software can be used. I've tried StartIsBack++, the latest version, but it doesn't solve anything, and it also freezes the taskbar sometimes -it hasn't been updated to work with Windows 11-. Then I tried "actual multiple monitors". and enabling "replace taskbar", returns the possibility to add new taskbars and so "true Launcher" works. Objections. The Start button shifts to the left, as in Windows 10, but the menu appears in the center, as in Windows 11. Possible solution: make the start button not appear (can be done with that program) and create a shortcut to the "start button". in the center, as another "true Launcher" button.
In fact "current multiple monitors" is the only software that allows you to set "true launcher". on the bar of the second monitor.
In any case, it is desirable that the programmer returns to "true launcher" and upgrade to Windows 11.
Hello.
TLB works with Windows 11, but without integrating into the taskbar. The TLB bar is superimposed on the desktop, it's not very ergonomic, but it's not TLB's fault.
The possibility of adding new toolbars to the taskbar, as well as other possibilities for customizing the taskbar have been removed with Windows 11. It is unfortunate.
I have tried Windows 11 for a long time.
After several days of use, I can say that the new start menu and the new taskbar are nothing new, and that Windows 10 plus True Launch Bar are better in speed and comfort of use than Windows 11.
So for me it's Windows 10 as long as it's running - unless Microsoft reconsiders

I was worried about this.
I'll be truly devastated if Windows 11 won't let us run TLB on it. It's JUST RIGHT for my PCs and for my needs, and I will just have to keep Window 10 running forever and ever WITH TLB, if Windows 11 won't let me use my most valuable accessory. It even accepts the Recycle Bin, and integrates the context menu for the Recycle Bin with the standard TLB context menu. Wow!
