Hi Yuri,

just updating from 2.2.0.13 beta to 2.2.0.14 beta.

While runnig .13 and checking for updates the 'Media Control 3.1' plugIn is not being offered when using the 'Check for updates' function.

Still if i check installed PlugIns TLB identifies the actual installed version 3.0 on my pc.

Just for your information.

Great update! I can confirm fixes on mail monitor sound, and submenu on-itself dropping Big Grin

Indeed the Media Control plugin is not downloadable via the TLB updater, it has never been... although I have no idea whether this is on purpose...

Quote:* Close menu using right arrow

I don't understand this one, or did you mean left arrow?

Anyway, I found that when you open a menu and have the mouse cursor hovering over one of the menu items (say item 'X' ), you can use keyboard keys to navigate to a submenu and push right arrow to open it..... but..... as soon as it opens, the mouse takes over again and highlights menu item 'X' which in effect closes the submenu. Hmm, was that clear?

Extremely nice, but

Some bugs: Now it's only possible to change icon sizes through the customize menu, no longer quick select through > Appearance, that's acceptable
the worst thing is it's not possible to change icon sizes on the root toolbar, the one usually stored in the QuickLaunch folder, not even the customize menu option appears there.

If I go to customize menu and select apply to all child folders and try to make them text only, it does not work.

All quick menu settings (Icon Size, View Mode) have been moved into View submenu. See attached picture.

Bug confirmed. Thank you.

thanks yuri, I don't know I missed that Smile

We do not seem to have all those options. Please see below.

- HorusUK - 01-15-2004

To see the alternative icon sizes, you need to define them in "TLB Settings..." under "Icon Sizes"... Big Grin

- IceCaveman - 01-15-2004

also there is a problem with virtual folders, I have my favorites menu as a virtual folder, and if I change submenus, for example to no icons, then they will appear again if I refresh.

- NetMage - 01-15-2004

Another Customize Menu issue - in a number of cases, the context menu does not show options correctly.

For example, I have created a Recent Documents menu (virtual folder) on my toolbar, than opened it and tried to filter it. Unfortunately, the Customer Menu option is not in the context menu. Reason: In TLB Settings I have changed Menu Templates to Without Shell/Button menu and it also removed Customize Menu. I changed to Shell/Button Menu in submenu and TLB Menu in submenu and the same things occur.

Ah - I just noticed Customize Menu still shows up in the Context Menu of the Menu Title Bar - however, it shouldn't change when changing Context Menu templates. Oops - that is only if Empty Space is set to default and not one of the other choices.

Also, True Launch Bar doesn't seem to work as well in Internet Explorer - no Show Title, certain Javascript shortcuts that work in Links bar (such as javascript:resizeTo(1028,772)) don't work properly in TLB.

I've attached updated context menu teplates. Copy them into contextmenu folder in the TLB installation folder. BTW you can modify them as you want Wink

now that you have added so many icon options, how about allowing us to make the icons appear at the right side, so wee see the text, then the icons, would me nice for discreet menus.
Ofcourse then all aligned in a line...
