- V-Man - 04-07-2004 Sorry if this has been requested already, couldn't find anything when I searched though. It's easy to add the IE Favorites as a popup menu in TLB, since IE stores favorites as separate files/folders. However, I've now started using Mozilla Firefox as my main browser, and this stores 'bookmarks' as a single html file (I guess a similar format to Netscape). Can we have a plugin to show this as a cascading menu from TLB? Thanks! - ozxar - 04-07-2004 yes i too would like this feature, the only option is too see what bookmarks you have through the WM, but that does no good ![]() PS. if you have some bookmarks left over from IE you can still use them if you have FF set to default browser ![]() - V-Man - 04-07-2004 Yes, and I can also export FF bookmarks to IE, but I don't want to have two bookmark collections. I prefer the Mozilla implementation anyway, much better have them in a single text file. - PsychoMark - 04-07-2004 And while you're at it, make it a more generic bookmark plugin! I myself am a big Opera fan (or more precise; anti-IE ![]() Opera stores it's bookmarks in C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Opera\Opera7\profile\opera6.adr (guess they left the filename at 6 for legacy). The format is really simple: Code: Opera Hotlist version 2.0 So basically it's a header, then all folders (I've cut a few down obviously, but the folders always appear on top of the list) with each folder closed by a single '-' and containing possible subfolders and URLs, then the last URLs are the ones which are not in any folder... Oh, and note that each entry is not preceded by 8 spaces but by 1 tab character. Changed it to space because the forum wouldn't render it otherwise... - Yuri Kobets - 04-10-2004 Good idea ![]() ![]() - Unbeliever - 11-07-2004 wohooo ![]() i`m a new user of TLB but with each day, i`m more and more enjoying it ![]() can`t wait for this plugin |
