I like the latest 2 for it's speed, 5 for it's media library (indeed with WA2-skins). However, I must say I only used 2 daily so I can't say how well 5 performs in that area... I'm more of a WMP guy nowadays

Winamp 5.04* gets my vote for all round excellence, but I only use it on XP.
For my Win2K box I have to say that the latest Winamp 2 is far better. As you're on 98, I'd say use Winamp 2.
Incidentally Yuri, I also use Quintessential Player and would love to see support for it in Media Control. It's got some handy bulk tag editing built in, good plugins, etc.
