Hi,
Does anybody know what windows xp style was used in plugins page?
Expecially I really appreciated the gray Start button.
How can I make the same???

Note sure what your talking about can you post a picture? I saw one picture normal windows and another using StyleXp on the plugins page.
I use Windowblinds on a couple of my computers and ThemeXP on a couple others...

that one right? don't know which one it is either, but I'd like to know as well... the times I am forced to run with XP Themes (for development testing) I'll take anything but the default themes

Pretty sure that theme is one from StyleXP
Program does not cost to much and skins are free

Please don't purchase StyleXP, it's allmost illegal software they sell and they are known for distributing spyware from themexp... you should rather use UX multi theme patcher, it does the same as SyleXP, only for free.

Horus StyleXP was developed with reverse engineering and although it's effects are only temporaraly it's still a "hack" and hacks are illegal to sell. The boot and login screen alteration you mentioned is very much illegal, although it's not illegal to use/make the software it's illegal to distribute logon and boot screens as they are hacked files, thus breaking the EULA, that's why Wincustomize does not offer hacked files on their site and that's why Microsoft supports Stardock as a way to skin windows rather than TGT Soft.
The UX theme patch is hovever is a permanent hack and is distrobuted freely. You can easily get back the correct version of that file if you are going to install a new service pack for Windows still illegal but it's at least less crime to make as it's not made to profit of other people's work like TGT soft do.

Actually IceCaveman is right. The legal XP Style must be signed. But StyleXP hack windows dll to remove the theme signature checking. This is like a crack.
