Fortunately, I just discovered this thread quite by accident. I've been running Windows Vista x64 for a month or two, and have had sporadic explorer crashes, and have been unable to track it down. Just a few minutes ago, my explorer was crashing about every two minutes and reloading. I took TLB off the taskbar, and now the explorer.exe is stable.
If you need any help - debugging or whatever, let me know.

I downloaded and installed tlb64-425-test.msi. Perhaps Yuri changed the file?

Anyway, it installed fine and I will test it out for a few days.

I tried downloading the file again, but it still thinks I have the wrong OS.

In the meantime, I now know why my explorer was crashing. I have the media plugin installed in TLB, and my media player is WinAmp. I also have a shortcut menu to a folder filled with album playlists from my music collection. I just browse the playlists from the TLB menu, and play them.
Today while editing nearly all of the tags on my thousands of mp3s, flac, ape, and wv extension audio files, it seemed that everytime I saved a tag, that explorer.exe would crash. If I turned off TLB, the explorer stopped crashing. This is new behavior just for the last public beta only - never had that problem before. However, there is one ongoing issue that I've always had in regards to saving playlists - When I overwrite en existing playlist, TLB (or explorer.exe...not sure) crashes with an exception error, and then the explorer quits and reloads. It happens without fail, and seems to have something to do with those playlist shortcuts listed in the menu on TLB.

Yes I do...absolutely. That's why I posted that snippet of DxDiag above...it shows DX10 x64.

Wow...that didn't work either. Really odd. Edit: Curiously, x64 425 RC1
will install, but the last official build will not (x64 4.2). It gives me the same error as your test build. Right now I have x64 424 RC1 installed, and I'm going to see if the same sort of tagging activity crashes TLB.

Agree, it's really odd Confusedhock: Just tried to install all versions one by one on my computer. All works fine.

Here is the zip file. Unzip all files into tlb installation folder and you get the new version.
