hello

I downloaded and installed the spacer plugin, but have no idea how to use it.

What I want to use it for is to hide the system tray (windows xp).

Spacer just add some space (or picture) on the toolbar/menu. Actually you can't to use the spacer to hide the system tray (system tray not a part of TLB and not a toolbar).

I know the way to remove the system tray. Add the DWORD value NoTrayItemsDisplay at the registry path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

And set this value into 1. After restart the tray will be removed.

thanks for the reply, but I was looking for something more on demand and automatic.
