I already asked that Smile

He said no - when you say toolbars - do you mean ALL toobars or just TrueLaunch Toolbars? Cuz I can open any other tool bars.

I guess it is possible to disable all toolbars except the standard, but I'm not sure.

Check the registry key:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Cached

Is there the DWORD value:
Code:
{F1447D00-6982-43AF-A009-67051ACA4E3B} {EB0FE172-1A3A-11D0-89B3-00A0C90A90AC} 0x401
This value must be equal 1.

Also please can you try to hold the CTRL+SHIFT when opening TLB. This combination will force to show the "Select toolbar folder" dialog box.

thanks for helping...

As you can see below , my value is a 1, but its a 0x1 , not a 0x401 - like yours

Also - im not sure what you mean by hold the CNTRL-SHIFT when opening TLB -
I tried holding it and selecting the Toolbars-->True Launc Bar ... nothign.

also - spoke to our IT depts - they say they have no group policies that restrict any applications.

I have the same thing with TLB 4.4 x64 @ Windows 7 x64 - TLB does not start after system restart

Every time after restart I need manually:
- enter Taskbar Toolbars entry and mark on True Launch Bar
- then replace TLB standard bar with my own.

Surely I've tried everything that matters in this thread. Alas, with no luck.

But have to notice that problem appeared about last two weeks or so. Before that TLB behaved nearly perfectly.

Well, then explorer don't load TLB at all.

TLB is shell extension actually, is there are any policy for "shell extensions"?

Also do you use any antivirus? Maybe antivirus block the loading external DLL (tlb.dll) into the Windows Explorer process?

That method is described in the current thread. Surely I've tried it, even expanded a little.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000
"NoCloseDragDropBands"=dword:00000000
"NoMovingBands"=dword:00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000
"NoCloseDragDropBands"=dword:00000000
"NoMovingBands"=dword:00000000

Alas, no effect.

No - according to them - there is no policy for shell extensions - nor does the antivirus block any programs - it only gives a warning of improper access- which I dont get.
