The menus on my system (Windows 7) appear unnecessarily narrow. It's as if they are somehow being 'optimized' (?) for minimum common denominator, or something. I looked everywhere for some option like 'minimum menu size' but I couldn't find anything like that. Is there a way to somehow force the menu to be wider? I have attached screenshots to show what I mean.

What skin do you use? I guess this is because of skin. Try the default skin.
