It will be nice to have a possibility to set the transparency level for the windows automatically after the application was launched by TLB.

In the example:
the semi-transparent modem-connection status window

Hi dip,

If, in the end, this is something that does not appear as a feature in TLB, you can do what you requested with another app called "Hack-It" (shareware - $15)

<!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.headius.com/hackit">www.headius.com/hackit</a><!-- w -->

I use it to set window transparency for apps all the time (Under Seettings|Automatic functions) It watches for their windows & when it sees them, it will set transparency/move/resize window as you wish.

In tandem with Hack-It, I use "Windowse" to get info on various windows I want to manipulate. Another great utility. (this one free!)

I know. There are some of them, f.e. ActualTitleButtons.

But most of them either are not automatically enough ;-)
(you need click something after apps start)

or

they have a problem making transparent some special
windows (f.e. ConsoleWindow or XManager:XTerm window).

Some App makes inactive windows transparent and the focused -- opaque. Funny.

So it would be nice to see this functionality in TLB ;-)

Big Grin
