This maybe just me but since SP2 I have added 3 minutes to my windows load time and this is attributed to TLB.

My TLB had many menus, well about 8 trees with background images, when I came to unload TLB I found I had 3 versions in add/remove programs, this could have caused the issues...

Anyway downloaded 3 again and will try to load her up again this week to see if it still delays the GUI ???

Well looks like I've done my money, had to remove TLB latest build due to very slow startup times - nearly 3 minutes to load the bar with 10 menu items and about 8 items per menu.

Also noticed during this start time I had major conflicts with taskbar icons not loading - since removal ( I now use desktop sidebar) I have had no issues.

Wish you the best with TLB hope you continue to develop it and maybe will try again down the track ???

I've found why TLB load time is too long but not sure at 100%. Please can you contact me by email (support@tsoftcentral.com). I'll give you updated version for testing.

Okay I'm back the new [private build] dll works great no delay in loading and a smart move to load the menu items after boot and on first demand Big Grin

Best way I have found to avoid the delay is to create folders of the short cuts required for each menu Item and then create the menu item and use the folders as virtual folders with the load in background setting

You then get a snappy load and the first time using the menu item is a small delay whilst it loads.

Doing it the normal way produses the longest load times.
