TLB resetting itself

Often (on this - our new computer) we find that one (not the primary) TLB resets back to Auto-Hide and we have to reset it to not go to Auto-Hide. This TLB is by itself on monitor number 2. There are no other bars on that monitor. On the primary screen the second TLB setting of Always on Top changes itself as well. This second TLB is vertical and not part of the taskbar.

One more thing - this same TLB (and not the other 2) changes size often! We have it set horizontally on top and the height keeps growing larger up to a point. Corrected it is about 25mm but when it has grown it is about 35mm. The Toollbar's min size is set to 1.

How about v3.1 ???

Yes this is happening in 3.1.
BTW - XP PRO SP1 now!

I can recreate one of these types of issues pretty much at will.

I have a TLB toolbar on the bottom edge of monitor #2 on the botom of the screen (monitors are stacked one on top of the other) If I "switch users to another user on my system, then log out of that user & log back in to my original account, the TLB that was on the bottom of monitor #2, will be on the bottom of monitor #1 (behind the taskbar/tray)

Happens just about every time I switch users.


I also see the "always on top" setting getting turned off as well.

I've got an XP SP2 box running dual monitors and this behaviour happens here also (and has happened since I can remember). It's an issue with a lot programs and the problem lies with Windows, not TLB.

Looks like Windows bug Please can you test with standard quick launch???

We had some sort of a Active Desktop reset as well as having changed user names/settings and now the situation has changed. Now the settings for Always on Top and Auto-Hide settings in all the TLB's are staying set where we put them. The only thing now that is not quite functioning correctly is the actual size of just one of the three TLBs. The larger horizontal TLB on the top of the secondary monitor keeps starting at the 35mm size until we change it by dragging it to about the 25mm size. Then it stays that way until a reboot.

QSection, please can you post screenshot of toolbar here and send me backup of your toolbar?

Sorry for the delay but we had a little extra Tropical breeze wafting through the area and we thought we would enjoy it for a few days.

Here is the screenshot and we will send the backup. Please excuse the poor setup as we were just in the middle of an experiment. When we mentioned the problem of size we were only using the Weather Monitor and TLB Clock.

This shows the TLB in the smaller size as we have made it so by dragging the bottom of the TLB upwards.
