Here is yet another method that does not work:
I close each truelaunch bar. I go to the Start Menu and click on shutdown. In the resulting menu, I choose shutdown. I then hold down ctrl-shift-alt and click on Cancel. The result is that explorer unloads. I then log off and log on. The truelaunch bars all come back.
THERE MUST BE A WAY TO PERMANENTLY CLOSE A TRUELAUNCH BAR.
