Hi shapeshifter, you don't need XP to skin TLB and your system, i know of a sofware and shareware called WindowsBlind, which will skin your system (98, 2000 or XP) and the skin will also apply to TLB.

One note: TLB support WindowsBlind skins only on Windows XP But you can use native TLB skins. It is easy to make them

Anybody know a way to make TLB span 2 rows on the taskbar? In other words, I'd like to have TLB set to 32x32 pixel icons and have the taskbar above the address bar, both right next to TLB.

You can try use 48x48 icons or make taskbar a bit higher. You need to make this to free more space on taskbar for task buttons.
