Comments in skin.ini files

Is there an official TLB method for adding comments into a skin.ini file? I'm writing some skins and would like to comment them for general realease.

I've been using # to start a line as a comment, and occasionally, this will stop a file from processing any further (especially a provider file for Weather Monitor)!
