Several points here..

- Check out the 'Turn off Computer' plug-in. It has a lot of options

- Check out True Launch Bar Hot Key option. Read about them at this faq

- Did you turn on the Win key handler - read this faq

Very often new users try to use True Launch Bar in old ways because that's what they are most familiar with. Try out what I suggest above and I think you'll find a better way to do what you want to do.

Also don't forget to read the Faq. It has a lot of information.
