Does 322 still stores names of files which has been deleted?

Hello,

my "Toolbar.tlbackup" contains file names of files which have been deleted months ago. I think this is the reason for the big size of backup file: 9 MB. The dead links blow it up.

Does 3.2.2 still remembers this deleted files?
Is it possible to clear the dead links?
