Whose brave? I've only tried this on Windows 10.
Unzip to "%APPDATA%\Roaming"
(Don't extract to "%APPDATA%\Roaming\EasyTileX alpha" as it will suggest.)
Open the new EasyTileX folder and run reg_easytile.reg
Hopefully that's it!
It works similarly as before but right clicking a shortcut will now show "Make tile" instead of EasyTile.
After you have run it once in a menu, middle-clicking will change tile colors.
Palettes are now used, stored in Palettes folder. The current palette is stored in the Colors folder. You can edit these directly but I've provided some scripts to maintain palettes for you (see EasyTileX folder). They're easy to use so give them a go, just run them.
In the screenshot/video created a TLB menu to the Colors folder then added a separator and shortcuts to the scripts.
Not all icons are showed correctly, but you can choose another in TLB.
For "metro" apps you can find the true tile icons in WindowsApps but you'll need to give yourself permission. They are all there.
If you need help let me know.
