Network Router/Wireless AP Monitor - erm....

This may be impossible, but a nice plugin would be one which can monitor the status of a network router or wireless AP. Giving details of status, number of connections total throughput etc.

My guess is its not possible, maybe the status could be monitored by a simple ping programme ?

If this information is available on a status page accessible through http, then you may be able to use the weather plugin to pull the information. Probably would depend on exactly what hardware you have.
