Suggestion for Virtual Folder settings

With 3.1 the feature to show hidden files et.c has been introduced, or rather it respects the windows setting for this, but I'd rather be able to be able to turn this off, as I want to see all folders when I work with them, but not from the virtual folder. I'd really appreciate a setting for this.
