Today I saw that there was a new beta of the process viewer. It downloaded and installed, I think. The component manager said:

Product Name Version Status
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
TLB Plug-ins Downloading error
Process Viewer plugin Downloaded and Installed

I'm not sure what to make of this. The only thing worth mentioning is that there were other components available but I unchecked them.

What version of TLB do you use?
With TLB 3.1 installed updated TLB Components Manager. You are using the old one that does not support groups.

The old version install plugins correctly but report error for group.

Well, I used the component manager to update to 3.1, so I suppose it updated the component manager itself too, right? The components manager reports as being version 1.3.

More details:

If I check only the component itself it updates itself correctly, but it automatically checks the plug-ins checkbox as well, if that is checked, _then_ it gives an error.

Sure.

Note: I am on a 10Mbit connection. No NAT, only a personal firewall, no router, nothing is blocked. The file downloaded and installed fine, so I think this is just a buggy install message.

I'm glad it's not me. I am always sceptic to what my system is doing and if I have finally managed to tweak it to death. I've been trying on and off for two years now to find out what program suddenly steals my focus randomly. The focus doesn't seem to go anywhere, I just lose the one I have. Anyway, frustrated rambling here. Good you found it Yuri.
