Maybe I'm just being stoopid, but I don't think that Mail Monitor allows the normal state icon to be anything other than that of the e-mail program. I think that this should be customisable, as it was for eMail Notify.

Yes, now Mail Monitor uses only icon from e-mail program. In the next version I'll make it changeable.
