I have been extremely busy. I have applied the tweaks, but my laptop still wants nothing to do with TLB....tlbhost is still fully functional though.

Thanks again for your help.....I have been removing some apps that I did not need hoping that one of them was the cause behind it. Still trying though.

Thanks again,
Larry

Yuri, Thanks for helping me!! You have helped me to find the problem I was having. I ran a few registry cleaners and then rebooted and now when I right click on the toolbar and select true launch bar, the box pops up and then all is right in the world.

I am sorry if I made you or anyone else think that it was truelaunchbar, although I have thought it was my laptop for a while now.

Thanks again Yuri, you are what software developers are supposed to be!!!

Congratulations! Please can you tell us what registry cleaners you've used?

Thank you.

The registry cleaners or fixers I used were WinUtilities and WinRescue XP. Not sure which one fixed me. Took me a while to try that because I do not trust many registry tools, if you know what I mean. Just wish I could tell you exactly what was causing my issues so you would know what killed me. Thanks for getting my head looking in the correct location for where the issue was.

Thanks again for all of your help.
Larry
