I don't actually think this is a Bug in TLB: I think there's something in Windows 10 settings that causes this behavior. But I can't figure it out, so I thought I'd ask you. On my main computer (PC1), the TLB menu doesn't mirror the icons of File Explorer for the text files. On my secondary computer (PC2), TLB accurately displays the text file icons. All other FE icons are accurately used in TLB.

Any idea why this is happening? (PC1 above; PC2 below)

Dan

Have you checked your file association? It looks like, on PC2, txt files are associated with NoteTab Light, hence the icon change.

Well, that's a good guess, but I tried re-doing file associations before, and it changed nothing in the TLB display. In addition, if the association for txt files were missing, some icons wouldn't show the Note Tab Light icon, as in this image:

Is this Win10? I had a similar icon issue, with a different program, and one day it corrected its self. I'll see what I can find.

Yes. Sorry: I should be in the habit of posting my OS version by now. Win 10 Pro 20H2.
Thank you for this kindness.

I always willing to help.  I'm hoping Yuri chimes in on some of my posts. I really like using TLB, but sad to see the community has died down. Cool

Just curious, but what icons does the file explorer display?
