I have my taskbar to the left. I usually have the width like in this screenshot (tlb.jpg): So that in the systray two icons fit next to each other and that I see only the Icons of running tasks. The TLB buttons are centered.
But after installing a 3.2.x beta, and now 4.0, after I start Windows, the taskbar width is always reset to just fit a single column of 16x16 icons. When I try to resize, it will only change its width by full rows (i.e., from ~22px to ~44px and so on), and the buttons look very awkward that way (with the icon on the bottom right of them).
The only way to get the width I want is to temporarily unlock the taskbar, set the icon size of TLB to 24x24, lock the taskbar, and set the icon size back to 16x16. Changing the button margins in the preferences does NOT work, as it only adds the margin on top and on the left side (instead of top AND bottom, left AND right side).
Please fix this annoying bug and allow real resizing again! I don't want to keep that old TLB version forever (I'm a registered user btw).
