TLB v4 vs. TLB v3.2 behavior

I use TLB to create a "top launch" bar that is an auto-hide toolbar across the top of the desktop. In TLB v4, when I pull down a menu and take focus away from the main toolbar, the toolbar immediately autohides with the submenu still showing. In TLB v3.2 (or FLB 1.0), the toolbar would also stay visible during this time (until a menu item is actually clicked). I wish v4 behaved the same way. Is there a way to control this behavior that I might be unaware of ?
