I'm autorunning Start Killer on Win XP. Most of the time I'm still able to watch the button disappear, what is a bit unaesthetic of course. I know this is far from important, but since it's always the small things that can get really annoying I tried to run it as a service, first with the Windows Resource Kit Tool srvany and then with Eltimas 'Application as Service', but no luck: In both cases Start Killer does appear in the tray, but without removing the button at all.
Has there been an attempt in the past to develope a version of Start Killer that's designed as a Windows service ? If not, I think it's worth a try...
