HI,

under Vista, when one maximizes a Window the taskbar changes from alpha-blended to oqaue rendering and back once the window is de-maximized. However, in the latter case, rendering errors occur in TLB where the actual background is still opaque until I explicitly click on "refresh".

Is that a TLB issue or the graphics driver?

Hi,

after closely examining the issue I found the glitches only appear after using a (fullscreen?) DirectX Application or when Vista restores the Aero UI after switching to the "compatibility mode UI" for a legacy application.

See above for screenshots

Note: the "correct" parts surrounding some buttons appeared afte I touched them with the mouse (so they repainted).

Additionally, You can also see the transparent Network monitor mentioned.
