I keep copies of all e-mail on my email server for multiple reasons, which means I have thousands of legit messages on any given account dating months (sometimes years) back.
Mail monitor displays the headers of ALL of these messages by default and I see no method to, say, ignore any messages 1 month or older on the server.
Without such a feature, there seems to be no way of preventing the 45 seconds it takes simply to display the headers when I click on a specific account.
The only option I have to prevent this delay is to actually delete the messages from the server, which I am trying to prevent.
IN SUMMARY:
Please add a 'display filter' which allows only certain time frames to be displayed. Doing so will relieve the large delay in listing/sorting header lists which easily grow into the thousands.
e.g: Add a drop down menu in the main icon bar which has:
'Show Today'
'Show Last 7 days'
'Show Last 30 days'
'Show Last 60 days'
'Show Last 90 days'
'Show Last 120 days'
'Show Last 365 days'
'Show All'
