Hi.

I use the command line alot for searching the web. Now i wonder if i can use it to search on Spotify?

If i type "spotifyConfusedearch:madonna" in the command line, spotify will pop up and do the search. But ofcourse i don't want to go through the hassel of writing "spotifyConfusedearch:" before every search.

Is there a way to use a normal prefix, just like a normal search.

so that for example, "s madonna" would give me the same result.

Thanks
QAZ

edit: this should be in suggestions, sorry

You can define your own serch engines for Command Line. Open the properties and the then open the Search tab, click the New button and fill the form. To fill the form correctly you need to discover the right URL. Just make the search in the browser and take the URL from the address bar. Replace the searched term with %s

Spotify isn't a web search, it's a music streaming application.

however, you can do searches in the browsers URL field or the TLB command line.

If I type spotifyConfusedearch:madonna in the browser or command line, the spotify application will pop up and do the search. What i was wondering is if i can make it so that "s madonna" will do the same.

thanks
