Hello all,

I have tried to make a recent plugin but it won't display anything...I cannot delete the plugin because apparentl it wants to delete the windows system folder, I thought it would make a virtual folder of some sort...so i am left with an empty folder icon on my TLB taskbar..

thanks for the help

I guess you try to create the menu and select "Recent" from the predefined. Is this right?

Recent folder is the real folder on the system disk. TLB show the path. Check if this folder exists and have something inside. It is possible that the saving Recent items are disabled in your system.

To remove the "Recent" menu right-click and press "Delete" menu item. Note you need the menu item with the RED ICON. This will remove the menu from the toolbar only.

Try this:
* right-click the Start button and select properties
* then Customize->Advanced->List my most recently opened documents

I guess this will help.
