For some reason, TLB bar is now shown at the top of the screen. I can move it left or right, but how on earth do I move it down to the task bar?

Using XP SP 3.

For some reason I don't get the True Launch Bar option on the New Toolbar option on Taskbar...

What could be wrong?

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm using Vista Ultima.

First of all if you are using the 64-bit Vista be sure you installed the 64-bit True Launch Bar. If this is OK then please can you check the registry keys:
Code:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Component Categories\{00021492-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

and

Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Discardable\PostSetup\Component Categories\{00021492-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

If any of these keys is not exists try to create them (just the empty key). After creating restart the computer.

If this not helped, please can you count the values at the registry key:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

PS. As I see there some problems with the registry on your computer. Generally the toolbars submenu have some more items.

Thanks for the quick answer Smile

One question - does it matter I'm only using Vista 32-bit?

EDIT:
Sorry, didn't help, and this is the answer to your last question:

Do you get the context menu when you right-click the toolbar? I asked it because Zidamon (who helped me to find the solution) have the problem with right-click. But I'm not sure that these two problems are related. So if your TLB works fine, I was right and continue searching in other place Smile

Umm, what do you mean by context menu?
When I right click the taskbar and go to Toolbars I see all that was missing.

Hmm, seems I have a problem afterall.

I'm not getting Plugins + Titles available in the "New" context menu.
So I can't install plugings or make titles Sad

I have 3 plugins installed, but none shows as you can see in the screenshots from before.
- Make Screenshot
- Process Viewer
- Turn Off Computer

It's as if it won't "take" the install....

Please check if the registry key exists:
Code:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Component Categories\{49E86696-EAA6-45A2-9480-C78C013B9713}

Create it if not exists. Also maybe the reinstalling the TLB will help (uninstall and then install).

The key already exists - and the uninstall/reinstall didn't work.

If it wasn't for a backup I made long time ago, I wouldn't be able to use these plugins Smile

Just to clarify - restoring the backup doesn't give me the option to install new plugins though.

I used to have the option to install plugins, but after one of the updates quite a while back, it suddenly disappeared.

Sorry I don't understand clearly about the backup. What backup are you meaning? Is this TLB backup? If yes I agree the restoring from backup don't return back the plugins if they don't installed.

Maybe you need to reinstall the plugins? You can download them from website.

PS.
Please check the registry key:
Code:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{39FB4C11-551D-4B7B-A2B9-0790372E7205}\Implemented Categories\{49E86696-EAA6-45A2-9480-C78C013B9713}
If this key don't exists then you need to reinstall the Make Screenshot plugin.
