WinXP Pro SP3
TLB 4.4.9 RC1
Shell version 6.0.2900.5622
MSIE version 8.0.6001.18702

Each time I start my computer, I see the very top of a "Quick Launch" window over my task bar. If I manage to show/move this window, it appears as shown in the second screen shot below. Right clicking the title bar of this window shows that "Quick Launch" is selected in the submenu. Unchecking that menu item (or simply closing the "Quick Launch" window) gets rid of it.

My task bar has "True Launch Bar" selected, but not "Quick Launch":

I have no idea why the second attachment does not appear inline, while the others do.

I guess this was secretly fixed in RC2, but this thread was not worth updating. I'm glad I kept checking back.

Your system was cured itself Smile TLB can't to control other toolbars like Quick Launch. If some toolbar appears after restart then may help the FAQ topic: TLB not loaded at Windows startup.
