how to create a stand alone toolbar with TLB 5.6 on win7-64
I'm normally not that dense, but I can't figure out how to create a stand alone toolbar on win7-64

What I want to do is to create a autohide toolbar on the left side of the desktop

Could someone please give me step by step instructions how to achieve that.

You can find the shortcut to the Standalone True Launch Bar in Start->All Programs->True Launch Bar

Run it, select the screen side and other options and you get the toolbar. This is the only way to get the standalone toolbar in the Windows 7.

there is only a 'Standalone True Launch Bar' entry.

If I start that one, I get 'Only one Standalone True Launch Bar copy can be executed.
Use 'New Toolbar' from the context menu to open one more toolbar.'

OK, open the taskmanager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and kill the process tlbHost.exe
The open the folder C:\Users\<your account>\AppData\Roaming\Tordex\True Launch Bar
and delete the file standalone.xml, this will reset the standalone to the default state.

Now run the standalone True Launch Bar again. It will open the toolbar properties, select the properties you need and press OK to open the toolbar.
