Bug??? Missing Installed Components to Update
I'm confused as to why under the "Select updates to install" you cannot add any of the installed component plugins to that list to monitor for updates. What am I missing?

Click the "Change settings" link at the left side. Here you can schedule the updates check and select what to install automatically (or select for install if you run it manually).

Re: Bug??? Missing Installed Components to Update
Yuri, I think what I'm encountering is a popup message in the system tray saying there is an update, when there isn't. This is the source of the confusion. Next I'll try to force the message to be displayed and get a screen capture to post.

Also please can you post the screenshot of the tlb update settings? Also usually TLB check mark the component to be installed.

Originally the 'Connection type' wasn't set, then changed to 'Direct connection' after the fact. Currently, unable to reproduce concern originally reported.
