menus disappear after 5 seconds

I use stand-alone TLB. I have toolbars, each with many menus. If I open a menu, it automatically closes after about 5 seconds. This is very irritating, as I often need longer than that to select the desired item on the menu.

How can I stop the menus from disappearing?
