Menu Alignment - Align menus relative to their buttons?

It would be nice if you could specify how menus will be aligned relative to their buttons. There could be three options - left, right and centered.

At the moment, all menus are aligned right:



Here is how the same menu would look aligned centered:



You can use you imagination for the 'left' option :p

I would think that this option would be most appropriate in the 'Customize Menu...' tool.

What about being able to choose the "height" at which the menus open?
