Some winamp control skins which I placed in the program don't show up at all.

Path: C:\program files\TLB\Plugins\Winamp\Skins\SkinName

No, it's not double-foldered. Looks like all the appropriate files are in the folder. (ini, etc.) What could be going on? Do I need to restart?

Also, why don't any winamp skins include a song position slider? Because of this, I always have to keep the default winamp program floating around on my desktop, which defeats the whole purpose of the plugin.

Be sure your using Winamp Control not a Media Control. Media Control is updated Winamp Control with support of some other players and with some bug fixes and new features (like Hot Keys). It supports skins from Winamp Control but they must be installed into folder ...\Plugins\Mediactl\skins. I highly recomend to use Media Control.
