I have made a button that contains everything My Computer does and some other extra stuff. Each drive shortcut works except "C".

Problem with Shortcut
The drive or network connection that the shortcut 'C.lnk' refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again.

I have tried remaking the shortcut and I make all the shortcuts the same but still C is the only 1 that does not work.

I unlocked my TLB buttons and dragged the C to the desktop and it ran without problems I then put it back into the TLB menu and it gave me the error again.

I installed the latest beta 2.2.0.7 and it all works fine. Any idea when the next solid release is coming? Are you working on bugs with the current release or adding more stuff.

Did you get my email with the shortcut?

Yes I got your shortcut but all works fine on my system. Maybe there are some incompatibles with something Sad
In the version 2.2.0.7 I've changed the way TLB runs shortcuts to make it more closely to windows explorer.

I'm experiencing the same problem, since about...April 2003 or something. Probably has something to do with the mentioned hotfix indeed (was it released around that month?).

It is very annoying, I like to have shortcuts to all of my drives in a TLB menu, for fast and easy access.

I have Windows XP SP1 Pro with all the updates installed, using TLB 2.2.

Hope it will be fixed soon...

I installed TLB 2.2.0.7 beta just yet. The problem seems to be solved. Nice.

Unfortunately, I have version 2.2.0.7 beta installed and I am still getting the shortcut errors. It happens with mine on shortcuts to my DVD-ROM and CD-RW drives: "Problem with shortcut - the drive or network connection is unavailable". (and this is to the correct drive letter when a disc is in the drive). I'm on Windows XP SP1 Pro. Q810577 is installed.

This happens and without TLB. When I place shortcut on desktop it does not works Sad
I do not know why but I have solution: create shortcuts to CD/DVD when drive with disk.

Yes, I figured this out also... however, it would seem that the shortcut functions ok while a disk is in the drive and has been detected by Windows, but on my install, if I click that shortcut when a disk is not in the drive, or has not been 'spun up' yet, the shortcut displays that error, and will continue to display that error despite having a disk in the drive. Rebooting also has no effect. Sad
