some settings change while others do not , on reboot or when i restart TLB
Beside the Obvious changes, notice that one cd icon changes but the other stays, also restoring the toolbar does not bring it back to it what is seen in the first picture

After

im not currently using any tweaking software however I did use jv16 Power Tools a couple weeks prior to installing tlb. Also I followed the Faq without success.

Windows Version: Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional version 5.0.2195 Service Pack 4
Shell Version:5.0.3700.6705
Internet Explorer Version: 5.00.3700.1000
TLB version: 2.2.0.8

nope that didn't work

also , i uninstalled via control panel , rebooted then deleted tlb.dll and the tlbdata files, i didn't delete the registry entrys if there where any, reinstalled.

*note* Not sure if this means anything i was looking in the path
"C:\Documents and Settings\kicelo\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\System\* "
and the file tlbdata.xml never changed or was saved to, when i made changes to my "system" menu

Yes, all seetings saved inside tlbdata.xml

I've uploded updated version here. To install close TLB logo off/log on, replace tlb.dll and open TLB. Please let me know about results. I cannot reproduce this bug but some users report this bug. I must be fixed.

I downloaded and installed Beta tlb.dll. Now drag and drop from Avant browser works.

I wonder if my mistake or was this a bug fix?

Thank you.

YES!!!!!!!!! I think it?s fixed, when I got home this morning, I went to windows update and downloaded Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (Windows 2000)
(because of opera I never updated IE 5 to 6) And it seems fine now. The settings are staying put. Besides this the only other thing I did was try out that dll file.

Thanks for All your help on this matter. Great Software keep up the good work!!!!

Hello Yuri,

can explain, how the order of the icons in the TrueLaunchBar is saved?
I have Internet Explorer 5.5 and can't update to IE6. I have some Icons, that are in the wrong order, but I can't change it, as the information is not saved. So I thought I'd do it by hand.

(WinNT 4 SP 6A, IE 5.5 SP 2)

Thanks!

Please try version 2.2.0.9 I've found the bug and fixed it.
All settings are saved into tlbdata.xml files. The bug was that MSXML library cannot save into hidden files Sad But with IE6 this was fixed. If version 2.2.0.9 have same bug please let me know.

2.2.0.9 does the trick!
It works like a charm, I installed it, changed the order of the items and immediately the file date of "tlbdata.xml" changed to the actual date.

Thank you!
