Thanks for this great update to the Clipboard!! =D>

I will test it out and let you know if I have any issues pop up.

One thing I found I think you forgot to add the version number V5.0 next to Clipboard Manager text under the "About" button. Not a big deal of course but it is nice to have the version number there.

Thanks again so much for added all my requests!! Big Grin

Update!

With new version 5.0 there seems to be a major bug in copying text.

At random times text is not being copied to the clipboard.

In fact its happening a lot actually Sad

It does not seem to have any issue when copying photos from web pages however only text.

Do you use the auto-trim feature? Maybe it works wrong?

With Auto-Trim either On or Off I still have text not being copied to the clipboard more often then not now.

So I don't think Auto-Trim is the issue.

Could it be one of the following that was added to 5.0 perhaps?

* Added: The selection is removed if unknown format is in the clipboard
* Fixed: no selection is shown on some conditions

For example just now I tried to copy text from a web page and it took "3 times" clicking "copy" before it was added to the clipboard Manager V5.0.

The only thing I know for sure is that I never had this problem with the last Clipboard Manager released before V5.0. #-o

What is your windows version? Also please check the "Take snapshot delay" option in the properties. Maybe this value is too large?
Is your Clipboard Manager menu is tear off? If yes, try to refresh menu when no text captured.

And the last question. Is the green selection mark disappears?

PS.
Here is the old version.

Update!!!

I think I just figured it out Big Grin

I had set "Take Snapshot Delay" to "0" when I was seeing the probelm.

I just changed it to "1" and now Clipboard Manager V5.0 seems to be adding my copied text to the clipboard everytime Smile

I will keep testing to make sure that was the reason and let you know if the issue comes back again.

I think I am like almost now 100% sure text was not being added to the clipboard because I had set "take Snapshot Delay" on "0"

I now have it set to "1" and so far so good!

That's good news Smile I make this delay because some applications had the problems with copy into the clipboard. TLB get notification about clipboard changes before applications copy something into the clipboard. For example the Excel don't copy anything into the clipboard if delay less then 250 (on my testing computers).

Do you recommend setting "Take Snapshot Delay to "250" then?

Would it work best with "250" setting?

This is the default value. But if all works with 1 then there are no problems. Just remember, if something don't copy into the clipboard, you have to increase this value.
