what I find terribly amusing is the simplicity of your anti piracy "protection" I had no trouble at all getting around it, infact I almost did it by accident. very sad... although it is an interesting idea, the blurry upside down icons are fun to look at.

on the other hand when I first saw your program I thought wow this is a good idea, I want this... then I saw the price....

you know alot more hard work goes into making an ear of corn, but do farmers sell them for $15 each? I don't think so, the amount of work doesn't determine the cost, the end product should, and your end product isn't anything all THAT amazing, I'm not trying to say I don't like it, but for the price? come on... for $15 I want a cd shipped to my house with a nice manual included. Not a piece of software I can download I think there are others who agree.

for $15 I can get a full tank of gas
or a new music cd
or a dvd movie
and many more... I don't think your product warrants it's price.

now if you want my money, which I would gladly send your way, perhaps you should reconsider your pricing, I'm not asking alot, but even if it were $10...

I know you're saying, well what's $5, big deal... well to some of us that can't afford the luxuries of the world, $5 is alot...

and you can flame me all ya want, delete this, don't care, I'm not coming back to this forum, so you're just wasting your time.

but these are my thoughts, you have an outstanding product here, but I think you're being a little greedy in the pricing compared to other things in it's current price range.

sorry to those people that don't agree, my opinion, not yours.

oh yeah and no worries, I no longer run your program, I don't pirate programs, what I do is monitor "anti piracy" software. yours is some of the worst I've seen, the end result is a good idea(fuzzy icons) the enfforcement is very poor.

and I'm done, and gone forever.

Can't resist to give at least a normal reply...

A music CD huh? First of all, Yuri's probably put a lot more effort into TLB. Years of work, and let's not forget the many years before spent on learning C++. Secondly, it's got more than 20 features, it's got a shitload of it. Last but not least, TLB is something you use every single day and makes your life much easier, whereas a music CD would eventually gather dust. If you feel it's not worth the money you obviously have a twisted idea of the world. There's a lot of software available at a much higher price which doesn't have the same excellent level of support. Let's not forget you're paying for that too, huh. Well, at least we are. Yuri may not have put in a state-of-the-art anti-crack solution, but that's impossible. Even high-end applications like 3D Studio Max are cracked within days, so what's the point. He added an option to annoy illegal users, and then focused on improving the product.

I'm in no way associated with Yuri, just a happy customer and fellow programmer. If you worked on software for a living you'd understand it. You can't go out and steal a Ferrari just because you feel it's overpriced, and software isn't any different, no matter what anyone says...

I totally agree with PsychoMark - it is used daily. Plus it is a living product - constantly updated and improved. There are masses of plugins, and if you can come up with a decent plugin suggestions it may well be developed. How many other products do you buy that you have the potential to contribute to? Yuri has dedicated a lot of time on TLB, it's plugins and general program support as best he can. He is not a major corporate, but is making a living (or at least a hobby) out of something he loves; and as a developer myself I know he is dedicated to the cause and is not trying to rip anyone one off - $15 is dirt cheap and very reasonable for what you get.

Keep up the great work Yuri.
