i was wondering if they use .png format for the skins, cos i want to make my own

PNG is the only format to use for skinning TLB and it's plugins.

From my experience, make sure any pngs are 72 pixels per inch, non-interlaced. Alpha channel transparency works very well, too! Big Grin
