Weather forecast and weather monitor

HI. Would anyone know why when I use either of the weather plugins it crashes my explorer. I tried both of them but explorer crashes out if one of them is active and i click on one of the folders(menus) even though the weather plugin is not in that folder. I tried putting the weather plugin under a different menu folder but it still crashes explorer. If anyone would know what the problem is I'd apperacate it. Thanks.

Sometimes if someone has a customised version of either it can crash Explorer. Is your copy of the plugins standard or modified? It is possible to modify both plugins quite well but it must be done right. Watch this - you will probably say (in truth) that both your Weather Monitor and Weather Forecast plugins are unmodified so there goes our theory.

What do you mean by modified. The only mods i have on the weather monitor is the providers thats from the truelaunchbar website. In which the weather.com provider for the plugin does not get weather from the website. And the other ones seem to tell me the wrong temps. I know for sure it ain't 479 degrees outside when it is 11 degrees. 479 would be burning up and we'd be dead. And I have also tried that .dll file which is available on here that shows 5 days instead of 3 days for weather forecast plugin. However neither work right for me and have caused crashes in which I still get without them enabled. I am working on trying to find out why and how to fix these crashes. So as far as being modified well its all mods that are posted on truelaunchbar and this fourm. I wouldn't know anything else about moding it any further. As far as being done right hmm how do i screw up the copying of a dll that i got from this fourm. I mean i renamed the old one and copied the new one in the same folder and well it can't be screwed up. As far as the providers well they were copied to the folder but hmm I wouldn't know where else they would go but to send them to people who seem to think I don't know what i'm talking about.

It sounds like your files are just fine. Another thing to look into is your Control Panel>Regional Settings to see if they are correct for you.
