Media Controller plugin and WMP 10 not working

I have the latest TLB 3.2.1, Media Controller 4.2 but i only see WMP 9 in the players list and when i select it, it`s not working with WMP 10. Is MC 4.2 supposed to supprt WMP 10 or am i experiencing a bug?


System:

WinXP SP1 version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1
Shell 6.0.2800.1233
IE 6.0.2800.1106

TLB 3.2.1
Media Control plugin 4.2.0.0

P4 2.66Ghz
512 DDR 333
Ati M9000 w 64mb DDR

I do not know about problems with WMP10. It must be compatible with WMP9. Please can you check the WMP options for the TLB remote plugin (see screenshot)

how do i keep making these mistakes and constantly causing false alarms? :oops:
i feel like crap Yuri, the plugin was unchecked (i dunno how that happened since i didn`t do it and none else has acces to my machine)
When i checked it everything is working fine

Plugin can be unchecked when it crash WMP. But WMP must ask you about this.

I had the same problem, but after I did this, it was working OK.
I added a new menu, then added a media 9 plugin, made the setting, selected the media 9 skin full, then clicked the play button. It should open up wmp10. Nothing else will work yet, then go to the plugins, select the plugin, then close wmp10. Then select the play button again from the new menu and you should see that it is working. I had a dvd in my drive so it could find it once it started...and there it was, all ready to play.

if it is already ticked, just un-tick it...close and repeat the steps...that should do it. I had a bit of a time getting it to work myself. It seemed to happen after I was putting in an upgrade for foobar2000.
