That's super slick lookim'! Great job on all the icons!

I might have to get XP just so I can skin my taskbar Sad

Or maybe I'll get unlazy someday and make a windowblinds skin.

Anybody know a way to make TLB span 2 rows on the taskbar? In other words, I'd like to have TLB set to 32x32 pixel icons and have the taskbar above the address bar, both right next to TLB. Hmm.. ASCII art:

_Taskbar_Address bar_|

Something like that. I've got Win2K Pro SP3 with TLB 1.2.7 RC3.
WinXP Pro (5.1.2600) SP1 TLB 3.0 IE 6.0.2800.1106 Shell 6.0.2800.1106
Command Line 3.3.0.0 Process Viewer 2.0.0.0 Calculator 1.0.0.0
Weather Forecast 1.0.0.0 Media Control 4.0.0.0 Volume Control 2.1.0.0
Net Monitor 1.4.0.0 Up Time 2.1.0.0 System Monitor 2.4.0.0
Drive Space 2.3.0.0 Mail Monitor 1.9.9.0 TLB Clock 1.3.0.0

Ok, so ASCII art doesn't show up right, let's try a mockup done in Paint Shop Pro. This is pretty much what I'd like to accomplish
WinXP Pro (5.1.2600) SP1 TLB 3.0 IE 6.0.2800.1106 Shell 6.0.2800.1106
Command Line 3.3.0.0 Process Viewer 2.0.0.0 Calculator 1.0.0.0
Weather Forecast 1.0.0.0 Media Control 4.0.0.0 Volume Control 2.1.0.0
Net Monitor 1.4.0.0 Up Time 2.1.0.0 System Monitor 2.4.0.0
Drive Space 2.3.0.0 Mail Monitor 1.9.9.0 TLB Clock 1.3.0.0

Hi shapeshifter, you don't need XP to skin TLB and your system, i know of a sofware and shareware called WindowsBlind, which will skin your system (98, 2000 or XP) and the skin will also apply to TLB. I'm using it and there are some sweet themes out there to skin your windows, a great place to look for is http://www.wincustomize.com/ for the themes.

As for the second thing, i don't know if its possible.

One note: TLB support WindowsBlind skins only on Windows XP Sad But you can use native TLB skins. It is easy to make them Wink

You can try use 48x48 icons or make taskbar a bit higher. You need to make this to free more space on taskbar for task buttons.

I've tried using large icons and making the taskbar taller, but it seems there can only be one row next to TLB. The sytem tray will span multiple rows (it usually puts the clock on the top and the icons underneath), as does my taskbar calculator (but it still only lets you enter numbers on the top line). I'll post an actual screen shot of what it's doing so you can see what I'm talking about.
BTW shark1, I know about WindowBlinds allready (I'm just too lazy to make a skin that all-inclusive) but thanks for the info about wincustomize.
Yuri: I've made a couple of skins allready, but the one I'm using right now is pretty plain because I can't skin the TLB background (hint hint Wink ) or the just the taskbar. Maybe I'll upload them here...
cmishima: Great idea! I'll send you a ss once I'm happy with the way mine looks. Right now it pales next to shark1's Smile
On the subject of skinning, anybody know if there's plans to make the Drive Space and System Monitor plugins skinnable? For now I could maybe make do with just being able to change the color of the system monitor background. Hmm.. the source code is available, maybe I'll just change it in the code....
Anyway, here's how TLB behaves on a multiple row taskbar. Compare to the doctored image in my previous post)
WinXP Pro (5.1.2600) SP1 TLB 3.0 IE 6.0.2800.1106 Shell 6.0.2800.1106
Command Line 3.3.0.0 Process Viewer 2.0.0.0 Calculator 1.0.0.0
Weather Forecast 1.0.0.0 Media Control 4.0.0.0 Volume Control 2.1.0.0
Net Monitor 1.4.0.0 Up Time 2.1.0.0 System Monitor 2.4.0.0
Drive Space 2.3.0.0 Mail Monitor 1.9.9.0 TLB Clock 1.3.0.0
