Question about working around task info

Hi,

I've included a shot of my setup so far.

I have all my buttons on the top row. I would like to put a system monitor for CPU on the right side, next to the clock, but it only shows half of the monitor because the top row is limited in height to the height of the buttons. The bottom row is taken up entirely by the task list.

Is there any way to do this short of making my task bar three rows in height? I'd really like to fit it into two.
