I do you a password and the screen does appear. AFTER entering password, screen is black. I do have access to task manager.

*I tried the PrevX "fix", but it didn't help.

The TLB toolbar I used first had "sysmon, weather, screenshot, turnoff system"

I have to restart the system 1-3 times and it gives me back my screen. This happened on w7 Ultimate as well as W7 Home Premium on both an ASUS and HP Laptop. The HP only started acting this way as of last month.
