You have to turn off this option. When this option is off, TLB will show dialog box to rename items.

Other question is why you can't to rename items in-place Confusedhock: Maybe some other software cause the problem? Do you use something like auto switchers of the keyboard layout (language). Or something other that can intersect the text boxes?
