Alright I have the same problem here, not solvable with virtual folders!
I don't have any anti-virus software running, and I have the same problem as Raistlin stated. This didn't happen in True Launch Bar 2.0, but in the beta 2.0.0.7 so it IS a beta problem!
When I enable TLB and reboot, only 2-3 from actually 10 icons show up. DIsabling TLB and rebooting again does the trick and the icons in the systray show up. Well I have windows 2000 running so that doesn't seem to be a winxp problem either more likely something wrong with your beta
PS: I send you a mail about adding hotkey support for the Virtual Desktop plugin... think about it hehe
